Removing the Blade Cover

On some models, the blade cover / sheath may fit tightly over the blade for safety.

To remove it:

Hold the blade cover firmly.
Squeeze the sides of the sheath using your fingers and thumb.
This allows air to enter and helps release the cover from the teeth.
Carefully slide the cover off the blade.
