Overview
Mixing two-stroke fuel correctly is essential for engine performance, reliability, and longevity. Two-stroke engines require oil to be mixed directly with petrol to provide lubrication for internal engine components. Using the wrong fuel-to-oil ratio can lead to poor performance, excessive smoke, spark plug fouling, overheating, or serious engine damage.
Before mixing fuel, always check the instructions for the recommended fuel ratio and use high-quality two-stroke oil.
This guide explains how to mix for the best results.
