The Cloudhawk app allows you to connect, monitor and control your compatible Yard Force robot lawnmower from your smartphone. Simply download the app, create an account, pair your mower using its serial number, and set your mowing schedule.


Before You Begin

Before setting up the Cloudhawk app, ensure you have:

  • A compatible Yard Force robot lawnmower.
  • A smartphone with Bluetooth enabled.
  • Location Services enabled on your phone.
  • An internet connection.
  • The mower's serial number (located on the sticker at the rear of the mower above the QR code).
  • Access to the email account you will use to register.

Tip: You can enter the serial number manually or scan the QR code using your phone's camera.

Steps

1. Download the Cloudhawk App

  • Download the Cloudhawk app from your device's app store.
  • Open the app.
  • Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
  • Tap Get Started.

2. Create Your Account

  • Tap Register.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Tap Send Code.
  • Enter the verification code sent to your email.
  • Create and confirm your password.
  • Tap Next.

3. Verify Your Email

  • Open the verification email.
  • Select the verification link to activate your account.
  • If you cannot find the email, check your Spam or Junk folder.
  • Select your country.
  • Enter your preferred username.

4. Allow App Permissions

To communicate with your mower, the app requires several permissions.

  • Allow the app to find and connect to nearby devices.
  • Allow Bluetooth access.
  • Allow Location Services.
  • Allow Camera access if you wish to scan the QR code.

Once permissions are granted, the app will confirm it is ready to connect.

5. Add Your Robot Lawnmower

  • Tap the + icon.
  • Select Bluetooth.
  • Enter the mower's serial number or tap the QR code icon to scan it.
  • Ensure Bluetooth and Location Services are switched on.
  • Tap Continue.
  • Turn the mower on using the key located at the rear of the machine.
  • Tap Search.
  • Select your mower when it appears.
  • Wait for the confirmation message.

Your mower will now appear under My Devices.

green indicator confirms the mower is online and ready to use.

6. Create a Mowing Schedule

  • Tap your mower from the My Devices list.
  • Confirm the app shows Connected in the top-right corner.
  • Select Modify Schedule.
  • Tap + to add a mowing session.
  • Select a start time.
  • Select an end time.
  • Repeat for each day of the week.

You can schedule up to two mowing sessions per day.

Tap Save Schedule when finished.

7. Control Your Mower

Return to the home screen using the back arrow.

The control buttons at the bottom of the screen allow you to:

  • Start mowing immediately.
  • Stop mowing.
  • Access your mower while it is connected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my mower connect?

Check that:

  • Bluetooth is enabled.
  • Location Services are enabled.
  • The mower is switched on.
  • You are close to the mower.
  • The correct serial number has been entered.

Where can I find the serial number?

The serial number is located on the sticker at the rear of the mower above the QR code. You can also scan the QR code directly from within the Cloudhawk app.

Why do I need to enable Location Services?

Location permission is required by your phone's operating system for Bluetooth device discovery. The app uses this permission to locate and connect to your mower.

How many mowing schedules can I create?

You can programme up to two mowing sessions per day, allowing different mowing times throughout the week.

How do I know the mower is connected?

When the mower is connected:

  • Connected is displayed in the top-right corner of the app.
  • green indicator is shown next to the mower in the My Devices list.

Can I control the mower manually?

Yes. Once connected, you can use the control buttons at the bottom of the app to start or stop mowing immediately.
