  • This article explains how to resolve issues with the chain brake on your electric chainsaw.

    ⚠️ Safety Notice

Ensure the chainsaw is switched off and disconnected from the power supply before carrying out any checks.

Do not apply pressure to the On/Off switch or stop button when operating the chain brake.

    Operating the Chain Brake

    To engage the chain brake:

    • Push the hand guard forward away from the front handle.
  • To disengage the chain brake:

    • Pull the hand guard backwards towards the front handle.
  • The chain brake must be correctly positioned before the chainsaw is used.

If the Chain Brake Feels Stiff or Will Not Move

    • Ensure the chainsaw is not switched on.
    • Check that no pressure is being applied to the On/Off switch or stop button.
    • Move the hand guard firmly but smoothly between positions (forward to engage, backward to disengage).

  • If the Issue Persists

If the chain brake is still not working correctly or appears faulty, please contact our Technical Support Team for further assistance.
